Scooter had surgery

My poor little guy had both his back legs operated on, on Monday. Since he was born he has had luxated patellas - (dislocated kneecaps). His condition was rated a 4 out of 4, with 4 being the worst. Even so, it didn't keep him down and he could run as fast as my other two dogs. But, the vet told me that if he didn't have the surgery, he would get severe arthritis in both knee joints as he got older and be in a lot of pain. So, a no-brainer, he had the surgery. He is doing well and hobbling around just fine. He doesn't let anything keep him down. I'm having a problem getting him to take his pills though. He is so smart and no matter how I try to disguise this one pill, he realizes it and spits it back out! The others, I just push down his throat and make him swallow, but this one is bigger and he is so little.. Oh well, I'll figure out something. Here are a couple of pictures of him with his legs all wrapped up.

Hey you!

I hadn't heard of this operation but I did hear that you guys were a big help to Annie and Barry when they needed to get down to Austin to see Danielle. Thanks!

The poochie's pills might be able to be split in half to make it easier for you.

I know how you feel though.
My cat Rocky went through a lot of anti-biotics (always getting into fights).
Rocky was clever at spitting the pill out after I thought it was safely down the gullet.

I took to opening the pill, sprinkling the powder in his food and masking it with some extra chicken/bacon fat.
